My replacement 360 was shipped back the other week. As previously determined, it is in fact a refurb. No surprise there. I'm really not too happy about it. I took really good care of my original 360, and the one I got back has a number of scratches.
...oh, and did I mention? IT IS AS LOUD AS F*CK.
Pretty disappointing, all around.
*At least until this one bites it.

Louder than a normal launch 360?
A. That seems like it'd be hard to do, and
B. Someday I would like to actually be able to procure a 360 that is LESS loud than my current unit. As I can't currently pause a game and watch TV with the wife without her demanding that I turn off the console. Which blows.
Yup, louder than my launch. By miles. When I play a game on the refurb, Air Traffic Control at Midway International gets panicked.
